I can hardly believe that we are finally here, do you know this is our 4th year of The Christmas Swap? - correct me if I am wrong.
I must have known that my parcel was due, as I hastily put up my tree on Sunday, and I do have to tell you that there were many moments of nostalgia as I carefully unpacked my Christmas decorations, so many memories of our past swaps, many beautiful decorations grace my tree, every single one special.
But of course, we not only make Christmasy things, and that is the wonderful thing about our swap, we share our various talents to make this so very special and to get an insight into what other talented and crafty women do.
I would like to thank Hazel, Miranda and Wendy who once again have organised and co-ordinated this.
I know the many hours that go into fine tuning and ensuring that nothing goes wrong, from the regular newsletters, to finding 24 like minded who are happy to make 12 gifts and to receiving and packaging our boxes - it is no mean feat - so thank you from us all ( I know that the three ladies also had a small helper - thank you Seini.I Will talk to you all again on the 13th when we open Gift 1.
