OH CHRISTMAS TREE -OH CHRISTMAS TREE

Doesn't anybody love me? the space is bare , could be because I went to Rachael's house to collect my bag of goodies to photograph and forgot it, could be I was somewhat bemused-firstly I had to gain access to her very own house, her table was covered in what appeared to be sewing, and I was told not to ask -maybe my Christmas gift was being made???
Great excitement this morning , Dear Miranda from Nelson phoned me to say her box of goodies had arrived -did you hear her oooohs and aaaahs

I thought I would show you a gift from last year's American swap - a beautiful wax Christmas Ornament (it smells of Vanilla) if my memory serves me correctly it came from Canada.
Now girls.. I do want you to comment on this Post -to make sure we are all on the same page

MY LITTLE GARDEN
I just want to share this magical moment with you, I was out side and looked at my garden and felt a sense of joy and pleasure at what I have achieved -this used to be scoria (I sold it on Trade Me) and a few grasses

Anyway, many bags of top soil, selected plantings of Fuchsias, Impatience, Gardenias and bits and pieces, plus solar lights and I have tranformed it into a peaceful and tranquil place to sit
It will also be a nice place to entertain durring the Festive Season:)
Greetings from Kaikoura.Like others I am getting excited about getting a parcel in the post. One of my neighbours reported back to my partner (he was away whitebaiting) that I had our cottage in a fine old mess while I was making my little gifts but it was all tidy and clean when he came back and not a piece of christmas bling to be seen. Some people just don't know that having fun can be a messy business. As that cat didn't complain I thought it is no use tidying up intil I have finished. Liz seeing you have had a liitle glass or two we will all have to have every day when we unwrap So I'll raise my glass now to you all Cheers Adrianne

Posting from Christchurch!

Hi everyone :-) I'm so excited about our Christmas swap we are all involved in! Thank you Liz for getting us all together, motivated, and organising this exciting fun! Racheal, you have made such a fab job of the Christmas blog!
This is my first blog posting ever and a little daunting, especially when there is a cat climbing over the key board looking for attention, but i'm doing it!
Until next time, love Vicki
Heres a little craft funny. Read all the way through before you freak.

To make it stand, you wet it!
To make it wet, you suck it!
To make it stiff, you lick it!
To get it in, you push!
Damn, threading a needle is so hard!

Cheers guys keep up the good work. I am becoming hooked.

Cheers Hazel

There seems to be a theme appearing here, had anyone noticed?

Christmas Swap Parcel 2

From Wet Dunedin

Hi Everyone,
I can't wait to get my box of parcels, it is going to be so exciting opening all the goodies up.
I must admit I was under pressure to get my 12 finished as hadn't allowed for ill health to come into my life! I did ask for help which was very much appreciated just to get things moving andthe motivation going to finish them off.
Aren't I lucky having a well orgainised cousie to get me involved.
Cheers Cheryl (Dunedin)

Christmas Craft Swap

Greetings!
Must concur with Hazel, very pleased I stuck with it and got thru the two stages! Many thanks and much appreciation to the two Nelson Nymphettes (I'm afraid that name has stuck ladies!!!) who provided plenty of encouragement and motivation when that was lacking, wouldn't have got my 12 created, wrapped and sent without you guys - and Liz of course with your fantastic 'newsletters' :) Can't wait to see what all you clever people have made, so cool to be a part of this!
cheers,
Miranda
Hi

It works even in Cairns :):):)

Cheers J
Isn't Hazel from Nelson a clever girl?? I think she deserves a extra glass of bubbles
Ok so it was the weekend for xmas parties we had ours too.
Glad to have been included in this swap even if it caused a few stresses along the way.
1 What to make
2 Wrapping, if any of you have ever had a pressie from liz then you will know she is the wrapping queen.
Getting very excited about my box arriving.
Are we allowed to squeeze the pressies?
Cheer Hazel

Lets hope she does not have too much to drink at her work party. She needs to conduct herself in a mature and decorous manner . . .

Our very first post -YEEEEEEH

Oh my goodness, I am really using our blog, it has been made very quickly, but at last we can now all contribute to it -I will get Rachael to see if she can make the header more attractive.
We are all set ready to `roll' as they say and it is going to be such fun.
Your boxes of goodies should be at your doorstep in plenty of time -don't panic
